Flint Hall - Suffolk's Hot New Wedding Venue

Updated: Jun 4

Have you heard of Suffolk's newest wedding venue? Tucked away in Creeting St. Peter is Flint Hall Glamping and Events. You pull into the carpark and are led to a little bridge and a gate. Open those gates and all you see in front of you is a gorgeous expanse of green grass, wild flowers, yurts and shepherd's huts. Absolutely idyllic and the perfect spot for a wedding.

To the right there is a gorgeous wooden undercover space, kitted out with a bar and pizza oven and is oh such a vibe. There is also a seperate building with toilets.... in wedding world that is a big tick. Saves you having to spend time paying for and sourcing nice temporary toilets, let alone trying to find somewhere to hide a port-a-potty!

With a membership to the camping and caravanning club, wedding guests are welcome to bring along their camper vans, or pitch up their tents and stay on site. Kitt and I chatted about mowing around the edge of the grass for everyone to set up. Now how amazing would that look?

For a wedding ceremony in the meadow, there are so many spots where we could create an aisle - or a perfect ceremony space, if you are completely throwing out the wedding rule book and ditching the aisle. The world is your oyster, that is the joy of an celebrant led wedding.

I attended their fabulous open day in May and there was such a nice feel to the place. I took some time to wander up to their yurt and looking back to the hubbub made me feel all sorts of joy. I could have quite easily laid on the grass and just spent a few hours watching the clouds. That's how good that place makes you feel. Alas I was on duty eating pizza, chatting to gorgeous couples and making lots of new connections. As you can probably tell I love chatting to people, so I was in my element.

Luckily for all you loved up nearlyweds Flint Hall have a wedding fayre on 14th July. Sadly I can't be there, but I will be there in sunshine celebrant spirit and thinking about those pizzas. However, you will be able to meet Kitt and the team, get to experience the magic yourself and meet loads of amazing suppliers, who will make your day unforgettable.

So What I can bring to your wedding? As a fun-loving and inclusive celebrant, I will really get to know you as a couple, find out about your story, what makes you tick and how you got to the point where you are going to say 'I do'. I will take all of those gorgeous stories and create a completely bespoke wedding ceremony for you. We will go back and forth until you are happy with the script (I don't want to blow my own trumpet, but people generally love what I have written 1st time, so we only do slight amendments). However, if you want me to rip up the whole thing and start again, that my friends is what I will do.

I only take one wedding booking a day, so you have me all to yourself. I will get there nice and early to assist with coordination, check everyone is where they should be and get people warmed up for an amazing ceremony. My style is humorous, laid-back and takes everyone on a journey, people won't be checking their watches and wondering when they can grab a  glass of prosecco.

I like to label myself as your wedding best friend and think all of my couples would agree. When someone loves weddings as much as I do, I want to hear about the minuschia detail. Yes, I do want to know who you have decided to book to do the food and your colour theme and your floristry ideas.

With flexible wedding packages available, you can hire the grounds for the whole weekend or tailor it to just 1 or two days. Flint hall pride themself on creating memories at an affordable cost:

"While many wedding venues charge a premium, we believe in making dreams come true without breaking the bank. Our commitment to affordability stems from a passion for creating memorable moments at Flint Hall."

How to get there: Actually, giving directions somewhere feels very off brand for me, so I am not going to do that. Instead just put into your SatNav Creeting St. Peter, IP6 8QL. It's about 25 mins out of Ipswich and around an hour from Norwich.

Find out more on their Facebook and Instagram pages (as well as the link to get free wedding fayre tickets) and let me know what you think of this stunning wedding venue.
